SCANPAN Fully Forged Classic Knives will last a lifetime if afforded proper care. Here are some helpful hints to ensure long, trouble-free service:

- Handle knives with respect to avoid accidents and minimise the risk of blade damage
- Always cut on a blade friendly, non-abrasive surface such as a timber or plastic cutting board
- After each use, a few strokes on the sharpening steel will ensure that your knives retain their keen razor sharp edge
- Whilst the knives are dishwasher safe, due to the harsh nature of the machine cleansing process we recommend that you individually hand wash each knife after use and wipe it dry with a towel
- Use the storage block to house the knives and protect the blades. Never store cutlery pieces loose in a drawer
