The colours have been crucial for the new design knife from SCANPAN®. The colourful spectrum (hence the knife’s international name Spectrum) from the world of natural science forms the inspiration for the unique look and design, giving both handle and blade the same fantastic and cheerful colour finish. Fresh lemon yellow, stimulating lime green, sensual strawberry red, pure blueberry blue, festive orange, and the fashionable and peaceful fig purple together form a slice of the wonderful colours of the spectrum and the sculptural shapes of the knife are brought out in a totally new way.
Not merely a knife, Spectrum brightens up the cutting board and knows its job. The sharp blade is made of high carbon stainless steel. This assures the wearing qualities, making the knife an indispensable universal tool in the kitchen. The blade features the practical and beloved non-stick coating that makes the knife super easy to clean and complies with the US FDA requirements, which means that the coating does not contain any harmful substances. SCANPAN’s Spectrum knives are dishwasher safe, but as with all other knives SCANPAN® recommends to hand wash the knife and dry it with a towel right after use. This will prolong the life of the knife and protect it from the harsh machine cleansing.
