Sweet Paniyaram (Kuzhi Paniyaram) - IndiaType: Desserts and pastry
Ingredients
25 pcs. 1 pinch salt 1 cup coconut (finely chopped) 1 tsp cardamon (powdered) 1 egg 1 cup sugar (as required) 1 cup milk 1 cup all purpose flour (maida is recommended) 1 pinch baking soda
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients into a thick batter. Heat the puff dumpling pan over medium flame and add a few drops of oil in each Kuzhi (hole). Pour a ladleful of batter in each kuzhi and cook for 5 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook again for another 5 minutes or until it is evenly browned.
Egg and coconut are optional, egg is just added for softness and rich taste. Banana lovers can add banana also.
